ART THERAPY CENTRE

KNYP+ addresses a critical gap in HIV care for young people in rural Kwale County, Kenya. As a community-based organization of HIV-positive youth, we integrate trauma-informed mental health services into HIV treatment - services previously nonexistent in our region.

Since 2020, we've served 250+ HIV-positive youth through peer-led counseling, support groups, and evidence-based art therapy. We have documented significant improvements in mental health outcomes, treatment adherence, and quality of life.

We seek funding to scale our peer counselor training program and establish a dedicated art therapy center, expanding services to 500 youths.
