Other Notes: N705AL's registration sibling N704AL involved in Flight 1282 incident 5 January 2024, when door plug separated inflight at 14,830 feet, causing rapid depressurization -- Eight received minor injuries, safe emergency landing made at Portland (PDX). Malfunction caused by manufacturing defect. N705AL and all of Alaska's 737-9 MAX planes were grounded for at least two weeks pending heavy inspection. N704AL was permanently removed from the Alaska Airlines fleet and is currently owned by Boeing.
