Dr. K. Vijayarangamuthu is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Pondicherry University. He previously received the DST-Inspire Faculty Award and a research grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. He also worked as an Assistant Professor under the DST-INSPIRE faculty scheme at the Centre for Nanoscience and Technology at Pondicherry University. 

Before joining the INSPIRE faculty, he conducted postdoctoral research at INHA University and the University of Ulsan in South Korea. Under Prof. Jeon Ki-Joon, he worked on graphene and other 2D materials for energy and environmental applications. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Delhi, focusing on pure and oxide semiconductor systems under Prof. Shyama Rath.
