Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)

Traffic engineering studies and design plans for the projects in Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun County. Some of the major projects:

• Preserve at Westfields TIA, signal warrant study for new signal, preliminary and final traffic signal plans, pavement widening, marking and signing (PM&S) modification plan for Westfields Blvd and Stonecroft Blvd

• St. James Sports and Wellness Complex TIA, signal modification plan and PM&S plan with turn lane extension on Backlick Rd, and bike lane markings on Industrial Rd

• Signal warrant studies: Potomac Rd and Benedict Dr, Rt 675-Sunset Hills Rd/Business Center Dr, Sully Governmental Center/Westfield Preserve Dr

• Speed Studies: Riverside Pkwy/Fort Evans Rd, Northstar Boulevard, Wiehle Ave (Reston Pkwy-Dranesville Rd), Sayward Blvd

• PM&S Plans: Loudoun County Pkwy (Creighton Rd to Shreveport Dr), North Shore Dr (Tall Oaks shopping center) at Wiehle Ave PM&S to include bike lanes and improvements approved in TIA

• Rt 650-North Glebe Rd, On-street Parking Studies

• Comprehensive Plan Amendments with accompanying rezoning TIA and special use permit (SUP) requests: Haymarket Crossing, Youth for Tomorrow, The Haven at Fortuna Village

• Rezoning with TIA: Oaks III, Glen Gery - Godwin Dr Property, Lake Manassas RPC, New Dominion Rezoning, Marumsco Plaza redevelopment with pharamcay and restaurant with drive-through SUP uses

• SUP requests with circulation and ingress/egress issues: Lyndsey Chevrolet expansion on Route 1, Burke and Herbert Bank proposed with drive-through, Ashland Community Square Pharmacy, Victory's Crossing Church, Family Off-road Riders of PWC on Nokesville Rd

• Proffer amendments: Heritage Hunt Commercial, Potomac Town Center, Airport Gateway Commerce Center I

• Public facility reviews: Dominion Nokesville Substation, Route 15 PWCS Bus Parking Facility
