What?
Kutztown University is preparing a KU in Japan study-abroad program**. Accepted students will enroll in INT 010 Introduction to International Studies (3 credits from KU). The program will include 3 weeks of travel and exploration in Japan with emphasis on Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. **(Pending approval from KU Council of Trustees)

Summer 2024 was a success. Summer 2025 was a success. Summer 2026 is TBD
Who?
KU and PASSHE students from all colleges and majors are welcome to apply to this program. Seniors and Juniors will have precedence. Other considerations include GPA (2.5 minimum), conduct record and in-person interview.
Our partner university, Kyorin University in Western Tokyo is helping to build an opportunity for KU students to experience a wide-range of Japanese art, culture and history as part of this Introductory International Studies course.
Travel is transformative.
