Welcome to my website !
I am a Melbourne Postdoctoral Fellow at the Melbourne Institute: Applied Economic and Social Research at The University of Melbourne.
I have obtained my PhD in Economics degree from Monash University, Melbourne.
My research expertise is in empirical microeconomics, with a focus on the economics of wellbeing, energy and health economics. My work examines how individuals, households and environmental factors influence wellbeing. I apply advanced econometrics techniques to large survey datasets to address the challenges of understanding mechanisms and establishing causality.
I have developed a strong record of high quality, policy relevant research with 13 peer-reviewed journal articles in leading ABDC-ranked outlets (5 A*, 6 A, 2 B), including Health Economics, Energy Economics and Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization (JEBO). My research has won prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal for best doctoral thesis and a Top Cited Article award from Wiley for my publication in Health Economics.
Looking ahead, I am committed to advancing innovative research, strengthening interdisciplinary partnerships, and producing evidence that informs policy to improve societal wellbeing with central theme on ways to make this world a healthier and happier place.
