Welcome!
I completed my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Calgary in 2025 and am currently pursuing academic and research opportunities for the 2025-2026 academic year. I investigate individuals’ behavioural responses to tax policies and whether the differences in cultural and social norms explain the heterogeneity observed in these responses.
My other works examine how expedited access to citizenship and citizenship acquisition affect the economic integration of immigrants, as well as whether differences in provincial minimum wages lead to interprovincial migration, particularly among the immigrant population.
In my research, I exploit exogenous variation from policy changes and employ rich administrative microdata from Canada to answer these policy-relevant questions.
My broad research interests span public economics, labour economics, and applied econometrics.
