About Me
My name is Kunj Shah and I am a mechanical and electrical engineer with a focus on mechanical design, rapid prototyping and DFM for low volume production. I have held engineering positions at several organizations including MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Aurora Flight Sciences, and Alaka'i Technologies. During my career, I have worked on various technical problems spanning from electrical harness design to mechanical packaging for low production volume optical and RF systems.
I completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 and a MS in Electrical Engineering in 2021 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
I am an experienced innovator with a demonstrated history of advanced engineering and have worked on a number of personal projects that exemplify my technical prowess. Most recently, since 2024, I have been developing an artificial feather badminton shuttlecock to imitate the feel and playability of feather models while achieving the durability and cost effectiveness of nylon versions.
My goal is to continue exploring my passion for engineering through mechanical design and rapid prototyping at a company with forward thinking innovative technology.
