Kunjakanan Nath

I am a J. L. Doob Research Assistant Professor (postdoc) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My postdoctoral mentor is Prof. Kevin Ford.

I completed my Ph.D. at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Prof. Dimitris Koukoulopoulos.

Before that, I was a student at Chennai Mathematical Institute (M.Sc. in Mathematics) and Ramjas College, University of Delhi (undergraduate).

My research interests lie in analytic number theory and sieve methods; more specifically, I am interested in understanding the distributions of primes, smooth numbers, integers with digital restrictions, character sums, and other arithmetic functions using analytic and sieve theoretic techniques. I am also interested in exploring probabilistic techniques to solve problems in number theory.

Here is my CV.
