KUnity transformed from KYOU, a senior capstone project that focused on highlighting individual queer and trans voices on campus. KYOU's legacy can be found on our instagram but sadly, there is no full-length copy available to the public any longer. KUnity took the core of KYOU, by focusing on queer and trans inclusion, but expanded it beyond KU's campus and let staff create a wide scope of desire-based collages. This year, KUnity has decided to realign our focus back to KU's campus. Instead, we intend to broaden our scope through types of media, now including digital art (found here!) and other potentials. This years staff has decided to continue the legacy of a literary magazine left behind from KYOU, which includes more written works and journalism efforts.
We cannot wait to show you what we are working on!

Above are last years directors (Picture 1) and staff (Picture 2) who left a great legacy and big shoes to fill! While some of our staff came back, we sadly had most staff members move onto other amazing endeavors. Which means we are ushering in a new generation of KUnity members!
Our staff meets once a week to collaborate and create! We have currated a safe space for queer expression and desire-based art. Each of our staff members have dedicated time and effort to make this magazine possible <3
