This Privacy Policy describes how Kunals Tech ("we", "us", or "our") handles user information in connection with our mobile application Notes App (the "App").

1. Information Collection and Use

Notes App is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App.

Local Data & Sandbox Storage

• Notes and Tasks: All notes, formatted text, and task lists you create are stored exclusively on your device. 

• Photos and Documents: Any photos, PDFs, or media files attached to your notes are stored in the App's private internal sandbox folder on your device. 

• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload, sync, or back up your notes, photos, or documents to any external servers or third-party cloud services.

2. Device Permissions

The App follows strict Android privacy guidelines and minimizes permission requests:

• No Storage Permissions: The App does not request or require broad storage access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) in the application manifest.

• System File Selection: When attaching files or photos, the App uses native system file pickers, allowing you to select only the specific files you want to use.

• Internet Permission: If network permissions are included, they are strictly used for standard operating system and framework calls. Your local notes and files are never sent over the internet.

File Viewing and External Sharing

• Internal Viewing: Viewing photos, PDFs, or formatted text within the App takes place entirely on your device.

• Opening in External Apps: If you tap to open a file in another app installed on your device (such as an external PDF viewer or email client), the file is temporarily and securely handed off using Android's standard secure file-sharing system. This action only happens when you explicitly initiate it.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• All notes, tasks, and attached media remain safely stored within your app's private sandbox storage on your device.

• Deletion: You can delete individual notes or attached files at any time within the App. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored notes and app data.

5. Third-Party Services & Advertising

• The App does not use third-party tracking, analytics SDKs, or targeted advertising networks.

• We never sell, rent, or trade your data or file contents.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
