About Me
I am pursuing my PhD at IIM Bangalore, where I work under the supervision of Prof. Soudeep Deb. My doctoral research focuses on combining statistical theory with modern machine learning approaches to address challenges in multivariate quantile estimation and forecasting under dependence structures.
Prior to my PhD, I completed an Integrated BS-MS dual degree in Physics from IISER Bhopal, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical modeling, statistical inference, and computational techniques.
My academic journey reflects a transition from physics to data science, enabling me to approach problems with both theoretical rigor and applied relevance.
I am a final-phase PhD candidate in Decision Sciences at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. My research focuses on developing hybrid nonparametric statistical methodologies for complex multivariate and time series data, with applications in finance, climate science, and urban systems.
I am currently on the job market and seeking Assistant Professor positions in the areas of Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, and Decision Sciences.
My work lies at the intersection of:
Nonparametric statistics
Machine learning (especially Physics-Informed Neural Networks)
Multivariate time series analysis
Forecasting methodologies
