Instructor

I started learning piano at a young age in Japan. At age 10, I started Solfège lessons including music theory, ear training and writing music. I majored in music and graduated from Musashino Music College in Tokyo.

I moved to the U.S. in 1992 and taught 2nd grade at Yujin Gakuen elementary school in Eugene OR.

I enjoyed teaching music to hundreds of students. Now that I am retired from public school teaching, I have opened a private piano studio. I welcome you to try a free trial lesson.
