ABOUT PROJECT/ PAR PROJEKTU

In times of intolerance, xenophobia and sexual violence – also spread verbally - in movies and media, fears that are often manifested through ignorance and often lead to impetuous actions should be faced with extensive educational work. For centuries the colour pink has been associated to the feminine in our society. It has, indeed, been used to enhance a gendered representation of women’s world, depicted as feeble, dependant, limited to the family inner circle. In the 20th century those

elements have been conveyed also to other social groups and have been particularly effective against queer men and women. A lot has been done in the field, also because the emancipatory struggle has paid off. Though still many answers are to be found when it comes to gender equality,

sexual tolerance and acceptance of disabled people and men and women suffering from chronic illnesses.

The aim of the Erasmus+ project The Color Pink - Color of Diversity, No. 2018-1-DE03-KA229-047525 aim is to give our students wisdom to overcome above mentioned issues and develop tolerance to differences which exist in our society.
