Kulkijat ry is an intercultural organization based in Helsinki that promotes education through music, theater, design and pedagogical practices.

Why Kulkijat?

Passerby means "a being that moves forward", a traveler or a traveler. In Spanish: Transeúnte. Someone who continues their journey.

We feel that learning makes everyone a moving being. Lifelong learner is a concept that defines our time.

We have been operating  since 2017, for 9 years this 2026, and we have produced theater performances, concerts, integration events and courses that improve the lives of large communities. Ate the end of 2025 we produced "El Toke festival of music & arts. 

From 15.1.2026 we broadcast our Radio Bemba programme in Lähiradio 100.3 MHz  in FM at 18:00- 19:00 everu Thursday.

We operate a cultural and educational agenda with the support of the City of Helsinki and Kansalaisfoorumi but mostly with the volunteer work of our members.  We welcome all cultures and educational initiatives. Our members are mostly teachers and art students.
