Biomedical Devices & Systems Laboratory
Precise and personalized medicine is emerging as the future of healthcare with the paradigm shift towards value-based care. Digital technologies such as wearable devices play a key role in customizing prevention, treatment, and management of health conditions. Our goal is to deliver accurate and reliable digital healthcare solutions based on a deep understanding of electronics as well as physiology of various clinical applications.
We are interested in developing and studying novel diagnostic and therapeutic devices with small-size and low power consumption that can improve the usability in daily life. Our research interest also involves the processing and analysis of biomedical signals to provide useful information to clinicians. We study new approaches for early diagnosis or prognosis of the disorders using a variety of machine/deep learning algorithms
