Welcome to my website! My name is Kuheli Sai. I am an interdisciplinary researcher, and my research is in the domain of Data Science for Societal Good.
I am especially interested to tackle societal, environmental, public sector, and technological problems that simultaneously help make progress towards achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
My goal is to create a secure, sustainable, faster, fair, equitable, people-centric network-enabled technologies (e.g., Internet), applications and accompanied platforms for all and reach towards a better digital society and future. Alongside, leveraging this developed socio-technical systems, my research promotes societal well-being, positive health benefits and inclusion.
My ongoing Ph.D. thesis contributes to the domain of Internet Equity, Digital Sovereignty, and on Sustainability. In past, I have also developed an algorithm for adopting game theoretic approach for developing smart-contract based policy towards securing interoperable Blockchain network. I use concepts from data science, machine learning, natural language processing and primarily adopts empirical methods that specifically aims to solve social good problems. My research simultaneously has implications to contribute towards policy development (including Public Policy).
