Our Story

KUGO Brewing Co. came to fruition when Covid restrictions took away our team sporting activities together. We realized it wasn't just the competitive kick we got from sport that mattered most. It was actually the time we spent socializing with one another post game. We missed the companionship, re-telling of in-game plays and general daily life stories. Playing the beautiful game of soccer brought us together but post game hangout beers kept us together. Forming KUGO Brewing Co. gave us a new focus and activity we could develop together during lockdown.

The KUGO way:

From the beginning we wanted to bring our own authentic twist to the craft beer market. We loved easy to drink beer for post game but struggled to find flavor profiles that excited us. Generic beer brands satisfied that easy to drink angle. While existing craft beers offered the rich flavor profiles we loved but weren't really easy to drink several of after a match. So we created rich flavor profiled beers that packed in lots of smooth rich flavors but uniquely would be truly session-able. Meaning easy to drink with none of the downsides most people associate with craft beer. To achieve this we chose craft flavor profiles that finished crisp and clean on the palette minimizing hoppiness, bitterness & maltiness. Our Beer is now ready for your enjoyment.

Sharing the moment:

KUGO Brewing Co is a genuine labor of love. It's taken two years to receive our manufacturing license and retail license. Now that the star's have finally aligned our startup journey truly has lifted off. Adventure with us throughout 2023 and let our 'KUGO lifestyle Experience' event's enhance your nightlife vibes. Seeing awesome people come together to explore, or share a KUGO with friend's and family is all part of the magic of chasing the entrepreneurial dream for us. Supporting local Canadian businesses, artist's and creative vendors during these events is also important to us. Lets grow together and make 2023 a year of awesome memories.
