Kudu NoteCam ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Kudu NoteCam mobile application handles information.

1. Information We Access

Kudu NoteCam may access the following on your device:

• Camera
  Used to capture photos and videos inside the app.

• Location
  Used to show and stamp location details such as latitude, longitude, accuracy, and place name on captured media when enabled.

• User-entered notes
  Used to add note text to photos and videos as part of the capture workflow.

• Media storage
  Used to save captured photos and videos to your device gallery.

2. How Information Is Used

Kudu NoteCam uses information only to provide app features, including:

• capturing photos and videos

• showing camera overlays

• adding date, time, place, latitude, longitude, and accuracy to media

• saving your captured media to your device

• showing your editable note in the app and on exported media when selected

3. Data Storage

Kudu NoteCam is designed to work primarily on your device.

• Photos and videos created with the app are stored on your device.

• Notes entered in the app are used for the current capture flow and related app behavior.

• Onboarding completion and certain app preferences may be stored locally on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

Kudu NoteCam does not intentionally share your data with us or with third parties through our own servers because the app does not include a user account system or cloud backend in its current version.

However, if you choose to share media using your device’s share features or other apps, that sharing is controlled by you and subject to the privacy practices of those apps or services.

5. Permissions

Kudu NoteCam may request the following permissions:

• Camera permission
  Required to capture photos and videos.

• Fine location / coarse location permission
  Required to display and stamp location-based information.

• Storage-related access where required by Android version
  Required to save media to the device gallery on supported devices.

You can deny or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings, but some app features may no longer work properly.

6. Children’s Privacy

Kudu NoteCam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a backend service.

7. Data Security

We aim to minimize data handling by keeping app functionality on-device where possible. However, no device, software environment, or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

8. Your Choices

You can:

• control app permissions in Android settings

• choose which overlay items to display in the app

• choose whether to share saved media with other apps

• uninstall the app at any time

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If updated, the revised version will be posted with a new effective date.
