MeeJung Bae (PhD Candidate)

Meejung Bae is a PhD candidate of International Business at Korea University Business School (Advisor: Prof. MyeongHyeon Cho). Her current research interests focus on the comparative analysis of corporate governance especially board of directors between countries. She received her M.S. degree in Western History from Seoul National University. She has worked as a journalist for an economic daily and business magazine.

YoonJae Bae

Bae’s research interest lies in the general area of international marketing (Advisor: Prof. Insik Jeong). His current research focuses on global new product and investigates how firm utilize its strategy which influences on performance. Bae holds an Master’s degree of International Commerce from Seoul National University and Bachelor’s degree of Business Marketing from The University of Iowa.

JongIk Chang (PhD Candidate)

Jongik Chang is a Ph.D candidate of International Business (Finance) at Korea University Business School (Advisor: Prof. MyeongHyeon Cho). His current research interests focus on the interplay of corporate governance (especially for family business), corporate financial policies and the national governance system. Moreover, he investigates how family CEOs and succession have impacts on corporate strategies (including internationalisation decisions).

HuiMin Che

Huimin Che is a Ph.D. student of International Business at Korea University Business School (Advisor: Jon Jungbien Moon). She went straight from undergrad into a master’s program, then worked as an assistant manager at Strategic Business Division in the trading company for three years before starting her PhD program. She is currently interested in the determinants of ESG and corporate sustainability.

Tongtong Hong is a PhD student at Korea University Business School (KUBS) under the supervision of Prof. JuHyun Pyun. He received his M.S. degree in International Management at KUBS and B.A. in Finance at Zhejiang University City College. His research interests lie in International Finance and Economics. Injae jeon  (Advisor: Jon Jungbien Moon)  is highly interested in the sustainable growth of companies and countries from a global perspective. Based on his academic background and work experiences he synthetically views roles and responsibilities of public and private sectors and seeks effective ways for creating shared value. NaYoung Kim

NaYoung Kim is a Ph.D. student of International Business at Korea University Business School, studying under Professor DuckJung Shin. She holds a B.A. in asian history from Waseda University, Japan, and an M.A. in regional studies with a focus on China and Japan from Korea University. Her primary areas of interest involve the interpersonal relationship between host country nationals and expatriates, and cultural diversity. She is also interested in the management strategies of Japanese and Chinese MNCs with her educational background in the countries. Before starting her doctoral studies, she worked as a researcher at Hyundai group.

Sohee Lim is Ph.D candidate in department of International Business at Korea University Business School (Advisor: Prof. JaiHo Chung). Jongin Sun is a PhD student at Korea University Business School (Advisor: Prof. Juhyun Pyun). Her research interests lie in the role of private sectors on development cooperation. Her current research focuses on MNE’s FDI and its spillover effects on local firms’ productivity.
