If you want a rigid, structural reinforcement kit to fix a sagging truck bed frame for heavy hauling, choose KUAFU Bed Floor Support; if you need a precision-engineered, dedicated bike transport system with patented chocks and E-Track compatibility, choose z-trak ™.
• KUAFU Bed Floor Support: Its biggest strength is restoring structural integrity and load-bearing capacity to older Ford F-150 frames using high-strength steel crossmembers; its trade-off is that it requires welding for installation and offers no specific cargo securing features beyond the floor itself. This pick is for owners of 1977-2016 trucks dealing with bed deformation or needing to carry heavy, static loads like construction materials.
• z-trak ™: Its biggest strength is its custom-fit design and patented Moto-Chok™ technology that securely locks fat-tire bikes without complex strapping; its trade-off is that it is a specialized accessory rather than a general structural repair tool. This pick is for riders who need a factory-style, secure solution to transport motorcycles or bicycles in their truck bed without damaging the vehicle or the gear.
The KUAFU Bed Floor Support Crossmembers Repair kit is designed for a very specific problem: a truck bed that has lost its rigidity over time. If you own a Ford F-150 from between 1977 and 2016, you likely know that these beds can suffer from flexing and deformation, especially when carrying heavy payloads. This product addresses that head-on by introducing four pieces of high-strength steel crossmembers that bolt into place after welding. The goal isn't just to patch a hole; it is to fundamentally change how the bed handles stress. By improving the strength and rigidity of the bed board, the kit aims to reduce the negative impact of deformation on the suspension system and body stability.
For someone working in construction or doing heavy-duty farm work, this upgrade is critical. When you are hauling piles of lumber, heavy machinery parts, or bulk materials, a flexible bed floor can be dangerous. It creates a safety risk where the cargo shifts unexpectedly because the floor gives way under the weight. The KUAFU kit increases the load-bearing capacity by providing additional support beams directly under the floor. This ensures the cargo floor remains stable even when transporting heavy loads, significantly reducing the risk of transportation issues caused by a warped or sagging bed. The electrophoresis surface treatment adds a layer of durability, protecting the black steel against corrosion while maintaining a clean, factory-like appearance.
However, this product is not for everyone. It is strictly a structural repair component. It does not include straps, tie-downs, or any mechanism to hold items in place once they are sitting on the bed. Furthermore, the installation process involves welding, which means you cannot simply bolt it together in your driveway without some mechanical skill or professional help. If your truck bed is already solid and you just need a way to secure a few boxes, this is overkill. It is also only compatible with the specified Ford F-150 models. If your vehicle falls outside the 1977-2016 range, this kit will not fit. You must check the fitment carefully before purchasing, as it is not a universal part.

The z-trak ™ system is built for a completely different scenario: moving two-wheeled vehicles. While the KUAFU kit reinforces the metal underneath, z-trak ™ focuses on what goes on top. This One Bike Bundle Moto-Chok™ FT is engineered specifically for fat-tire bikes and motorcycles. It stands out because it is not a generic, one-size-fits-all rail system. Instead, the Z-TRAK rail is precision-cut to match your truck bed for a secure, factory-style fit. This attention to detail means it integrates seamlessly into the truck bed rails without requiring you to drill new holes or use makeshift clamps that might slip.
What makes this system truly compelling is its approach to security. Traditional tie-down methods often rely on tension straps that can loosen over time or fail if not tightened perfectly. The z-trak ™ system uses a patented design featuring the Moto-Chok™ FT track included in the bundle. This track works with choks (made from 11-gauge steel) to physically lock the tire in place. Combined with the heavy-duty 12-gauge steel construction of the main rail, it creates a robust barrier against movement. Even on bumpy roads or during sudden stops, the bike stays locked down. The system is an all-in-one solution to safely transport bikes, meaning you don't have to hunt for separate anchors or buy a dozen different accessories to make it work.
This product is ideal for food delivery drivers who need to move equipment quickly, or for hobbyists who frequently haul their bikes to trailheads. Because it is compatible with E-Track accessories, you can add straps, anchors, and other versatile tools to further customize the setup. However, like the KUAFU kit, it has limitations. It is a specialized tool for specific vehicles. It is not a general-purpose cargo management system for hauling furniture, appliances, or random household goods. If you do not ride fat-tire bikes or motorcycles, this investment sits idle. It is also worth noting that while the system includes the rail and choks, it does not include the straps needed to secure the rest of the bike, so you will need to source those separately based on your specific vehicle size.
• Best for Structural Repair → KUAFU Bed Floor Support: If your primary concern is a sagging, weak, or deformed truck bed floor, the KUAFU crossmembers provide the necessary steel backbone to restore rigidity.
• Best for Bike Security → z-trak ™: If your main goal is to transport motorcycles or fat-tire bikes safely without them rolling or shifting, the z-trak ™ patented chock system is the superior choice.
• Best for Heavy Static Loads → KUAFU Bed Floor Support: For carrying heavy, non-moving cargo like bricks or machinery, the increased load-bearing capacity of the KUAFU kit prevents floor failure.
• Best for Dynamic Transport → z-trak ™: For moving gear that will vibrate and shift during transit, the z-trak ™ locking mechanism offers superior dynamic security compared to simple tie-downs.
• Installation Complexity → KUAFU Bed Floor Support: Requires welding and precise fitting for 1977-2016 F-150s, making it a more involved project for the DIYer.
• Ease of Use → z-trak ™: Designed for a secure, factory-style fit that integrates easily with existing E-Track systems, offering a more plug-and-play experience for bike owners.
• Material Durability → Both: Both products utilize high-grade steel (KUAFU with electrophoresis coating, z-trak ™ with 12-gauge/11-gauge construction) to ensure long-term strength and resistance to wear.
• Versatility → z-trak ™: Offers greater versatility through E-Track compatibility, allowing you to expand the system with various straps and anchors, whereas KUAFU is a single-purpose structural fix.
I would choose the z-trak ™ if my daily routine involves frequent trips carrying heavy equipment like delivery gear or personal bikes. While the KUAFU kit is undeniably strong, it is a passive solution meant for a broken foundation. The z-trak ™ active system provides immediate utility and peace of mind for anyone who needs to move valuable two-wheeled assets safely. For food delivery specifically, where speed and reliability are paramount, having a dedicated, patented locking system for your gear is far more practical than reinforcing a floor that might not even be damaged yet. The precision fit and ease of integration make it the smarter investment for active transport needs.
No, the KUAFU Bed Floor Support is specifically designed for Ford F-150 models manufactured between 1977 and 2016. You must verify your vehicle year and model before buying, as it will not fit newer or older versions.
No, the z-trak ™ One Bike Bundle includes the rail, the Moto-Chok™ FT track, and the choks, but it explicitly excludes the straps. You will need to purchase separate straps that are compatible with the E-Track system to fully secure your bike.
No, the product specifications state that the installation method is "Weld on." The kit comes with bolt supports, but the crossmembers themselves require welding to the truck bed frame for proper structural integrity.
Both serve different purposes. KUAFU prevents cargo damage by stopping the bed floor from collapsing under weight, while z-trak ™ prevents cargo damage by keeping the bike from rolling, scratching, or falling off the bed entirely.
