High-angular-resolution dataset created using a turntable arrangement. Seven distinct objects, positioned on an automated turntable, were captured from three camera positions for every half degree of rotation, generating 720 images for each camera position. For each object, the camera positions were registered to the coordinate system of the middle camera. Intrinsic parameters of the camera were also estimated. A dataset of this kind is instrumental for research in a variety of areas, such as light field visualization, manifold learning, visual quality assessment, evaluation of preferred object orientation etc.
