My journey in Strength and Conditioning is deeply personal because it began with overcoming obstacles in my own life through lifting weights and training.
For me, the weight room was never just about physical strength. It became a place where I learned discipline, resilience, and how to keep moving forward even when life was challenging.
There were times when I faced set-backs, both mentally and phsyically, and training gave me the structure when things felt uncertain. Every workout, every rep, and every challenge in the gym taught me that growth often comes through discomfort.
Lifting weights showed me what it means to push past limitations. Some days the obstacle was physical fatigue, and other days it was self-doubt. But showing up consistently taught me that strength is built one day at a time. The process of training helped shape my mindset — it taught me patience, accountability, and the belief that progress is possible even when it feels slow.
Those personal experiences are what led me to become a strength and conditioning coach. I understand firsthand that training can transform more than the body; it can transform confidence, mindset, and the way a person sees themselves. I know what it feels like to start from a difficult place and use fitness as a way to rebuild strength from the inside out.
As a coach, I bring that perspective into the way I work with athletes and clients. I am passionate about helping others overcome their own barriers, whether that is fear, lack of confidence, injury setbacks, or performance plateaus. My goal is not only to help people become stronger physically, but to help them realize they are capable of more than they thought possible.
Strength and conditioning, to me, is about empowerment. It is about teaching people that obstacles do not define them — how they respond to those obstacles does. My own journey through lifting and training is what fuels my passion to help others discover their strength, both in the gym and in life.
