Brijesh Adhikary is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University. He is also the Associate Dean at the School of Engineering, Kathmandu University.
Brijesh Adhikary received the B.Sc. degree from Tribhuwan University, in 1988, Nepal, the B.E. degree from Karnataka University, India, in 1994, the M.E. degree from BITS Pilani, India, in 1998.
His research interests include Renewable Energy, Distributed Generation & Power Generators.
Dr. Bhupendra Bimal Chhetri

Dr. Bhupendra B. Chhetri joined Kathmandu University in 1994 as a Lecturer in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He obtained Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1993 and Master and Doctorate of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering Degrees from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2000 and 2003 respectively.
Dr. Chhetri has served in various academic and research management positions in Kathmandu University. He was the Head of Department (2005-2008) and Dean of School of Engineering (2016-2018). He is currently Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
His research interests include Carrier Transmission on Power Lines, Modulation, Data Acquisition, Hydroelectric Power Stations, Noise Measurement, Power Generation Economics & Renewable Energy Sources.

Dr. Bishal Silwal is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University. Before joining KU, he served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Pokhara University.
He received his BE in electrical engineering degree from Kathmandu University, Nepal in 2009. He received his Master’s degree and PhD degree from School of Electrical Engineering, Aalto University, Finland in 2012 and 2017 respectively. He then worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Electrical Energy, Metals, Mechanical Construction and Systems, Ghent University, Belgium, from July 2017 to October 2019. During his tenure at Ghent University, he was also the member of the core lab of Flanders Make, a strategic institution aimed at capacity building of the Flemish manufacturing industries. He has published about 14 journals and conference proceedings.
Dr. Silwal's work at Research Group of Electromechanics at the School of Electrical Engineering, Aalto University dealt with the Computation of Force and Torque in Radial Flux Electrical Machines Using 2D-FEM. At Ghent University, he worked on the study related to the Thermally Induced Mechanical Stress in the Stator Windings of Electrical Machines. Besides, he designed motor and generators for several companies and application ranging from wind power generators to e-bikes.
His current research interest include Grid Optimization, Condition Monitoring & Fault Diagnostics of Electrical Equipments and IC - EV Conversion.

Er. Amrit Chapagain is an passionate Electrical Engineer with great interest in fields of Electrical Machines Modelling & Condition Monitoring of Rotating Machines. He completed his undergraduate, BE in Electrical Engineering at Paschimanchal Campus, IOE, in the year 2019. As his final year project, he worked on Hosting Capacity Calculation in Power System Network. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Chaudhary Group Industrial Park (CGIP) for 3 years before joining Kathmandu University.
Amrit joined Kathmandu University as "MS By Research" student under Hydro Himalaya Project in January, 2023. His current ongoing research is "Anomaly Detection & Condition Monitoring of Synchronous Generators".
Er. Apsara Adhikari

Er. Apsara Adhikari is a passionate and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer, with interests in implementation of machine learning algorithms in power systems. She completed her undergraduate, BE in Electrical Engineering at IOE, Pulchowk, in the year 2021. As her final year project, she worked on Seamless Transition of Microgrid Between Grid-Connected Mode & Islanded Mode. She worked as an Electrical Engineer in an EV startup "Ebolt" with focuses on Field Orientation Control Strategy of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine & Parallel Modular Battery Control Strategy.
Apsara joined GRID2040 Project as a "Research Assistant" in September, 2022. Her research interests include Implementation of Machine Learning Algorithms in Power Systems, Electrical System Modeling & Power System Optimization.

Er. Gaurav Dhakal is an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with great interest in fields of Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, Energy Efficiency, Condition Monitoring and application of electrical approaches in different other fields. He completed his undergraduate, BE in Electrical Engineering at National College of Engineering (NCE), affiliated under IOE, in the year 2022. As his final year project, he worked on Condition Monitoring of Induction Motor Using Artificial Neural Network.
Gaurav joined CEEECoM Project as a "Research Assistant" in April, 2023. His research interests include Fault Diagnosis & Condition Monitoring of Induction Motor, Quantifying Condition Monitoring and Analysis of Condition Monitoring Metrices.

Er. Abhinav Bhattarai is an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with great interest in fields of Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Machines, Finite Element Method, and Condition Monitoring. He completed his Master in Power System Engineering from Kathmandu University in the year 2023. As his Master's thesis, he worked on "Detection of Partial Discharge on Power Transformer Using Acoustic Emission Technique."
Abhinav joined CEEECoM Project as a "Research Assistant" in January, 2024. His research interests include Fault Diagnosis & Condition Monitoring of Transformers & Finite Element Modelling of Electric Machines.
Er. Shreeshuva Maharjan

Er. Shreeshuva Maharjan is a dedicated electrical engineer with a passion for advancing the field of electrical power engineering. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Khwopa College of Engineering, affiliated with IOE, in 2023. For his final year project, Shreeshuva worked on the optimal placement of electric vehicle charging stations in radial distribution networks, emphasizing the reduction of total harmonic distortion.
Currently, Shreeshuva is pursuing his Master’s in Electrical Power Engineering at Kathmandu University, School of Engineering. Since January 2024, he has been contributing to the GRID2040 project as a "Research Intern". His research interests include Electrical System Modeling, Power System Optimization, Fault Diagnosis & Condition Monitoring of Electric Machines.
