The career I have decided to pursue is Hospitality and tourism. I chose to go into this field because I like to help people and I want to keep dancing throughout my life.  I saw ballet at a young age and fell in love with dancing. As I have gotten older, I still love it more than I did as a child. I knew that it was the right path for me because I could keep my hobbies and make some money off of it. I have tried many things over the years but I keep coming back to dance for the public. I want to join the disney college program and work at Disney. I have gone to Disney so much in my life that it’s another home. I want to keep the magic going for others. I want to create magic for others that I got. Hospitality and tourism allows me to dance and work at the place I love.

 I have taken some classes to help me in my goal of joining Hospitality and tourism. I do pet sitting over the summer and taught a summer camp one summer. I have also taken French 1 and 2 to help me understand ballet and others. There are things that I still need to learn to become a staff member at disney. I know a lot about different Disney movies and shows. My research on the movies and shows keeps me asking more questions for better understanding. Things I have learned at the tech center are that you need to work hard to get where you want to go and have a drive to get you there. Some skills I learned are talking with others and problem solving within a large group. 

I have participated in many extracurricular activities. They have taught me to have leadership, trust, honesty, compassion, work with others and a strong  work drive. I have done dance , martial arts, baseball, horseback riding and running club. They each taught me who I want to be and what I’m good at. They each had something that I'm good and bad at. The different skills helped me do something else in my life. Working as a pet sitter taught me that you need to talk to the owner and complete the tasks in a timely manner. 

After I leave High school I’m going to college to get a bachelors in something. I don’t know what yet. I have no plans on what college or place I will be going to. I know I will find the right place for me. I want to join the Disney team in Florida or California. The plans I have are subject to change over time but I know where I want to go. I will get there one way or another. I will find a job that pays well while at college to have some money saved up. 

After I go to college and get my job at Disney, I will have a positive impact on the community. I can keep the magic that I had when I was a child and give it to others. I want to bring the same joy that I was given. While at disney I can still dance and have fun at my job. I want to bring smiles on others faces and spread some joy in the world.
