Welcome! I am a PhD candidate with my defense expected in the autumn of 2025. Currently, I work as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Chair for European Economic Policy, University of Siegen.Â
In my research, I primarily use formal models and microeconometric methods to explore the intricate interplay between economic and political decisions. My core focus lies in understanding the actions and strategies of politicians as they navigate the path to electoral success. Overall, my research interests encompass political economics, institutional economics, political behavior, elections, and corruption, with additional interests in authoritarian politics and history.
