At KTF Ranch we provide Western riding lessons to riders of all ages and abilities. Lessons are held throughout the spring, summer and early fall. We provide our students with knowledge on how to handle horses safely, tack up, lead horses, and how to ride safely and correctly. See below for specific class details.

Beginner Riding Lessons - $40 a lesson OR $70 for 2 lessons a week.
Our beginner riding lessons are for any age, and go over basic horse handling, posture, control, and steering. This would be a great class for a young rider, a new rider, or for anyone who may have ridden in the past but wants to rebuild their confidence.
Beginner Riding Lesson Times
Mondays at 4pm
Tuesdays at 4:30 pm
Thursdays at 6 pm
Intermediate Riding Lessons - $40 a lesson OR $70 for 2 lessons a week
Our intermediate riding lessons are for any age, and go in depth on pattern and obstacle work, leg pressures, correct posture, handling, and control at different speeds. These lessons would be best suited for someone who feels confident at the walk and trot, can steer a horse independently, and who has had past experience with horses.

Advanced Riding Lessons - $40 a lesson OR $70 for 2 lessons a week
Our Advanced riding lessons go in depth on patterns and obstacle work at high speeds, collection and control, correct posture, leg pressures, and footwork. These lessons would be best suited for a rider who can tack up on their own, who rides regularly, and who is confident at a walk, trot, or lope.

Wednesdays at 10 am
Private lessons $45 a lesson
Private lessons are great for working in specific areas that riders would like to improve. They are entirly tailored to fit a riders goals. Private lessons are beneficial for any age and skill level, for anyone who wants to improve a specific skill, or improve in a specific event such as barrel racing, roping, goat tying, pleasure riding, reining, etc.
*If your group lesson is missing students, you will not be charged for a private lesson. *

Who Can Ride?
Who Can Ride?
Ages 4 and up.
Beginner to advanced riders.
Must have doctor's approval.
Must be able to sit up by themselves and follow simple instructions.
Everyone who rides MUST sign a liability release waver before working with a horse.
Everyone who rides MUST wear a helmet and closed toed shoes. We have helmets available.
Families are welcome!

Lessons are groups of 2-4 riders for best possible safety and attention to detail from instructors.
All lessons are 1 hour, but please recognize that extra time may be needed to pick up messes.
Lessons are pay by week, and there is an added discount deal if you choose to take any lessons more than once a week or with family members.
Our Horses
Our Horses
We have plenty of lovely horses for lessons, but if riders prefer to bring their own horse to use they are more than welcome.
Many of our horses perform outside of lessons as well, check out our about us page to learn more.
We have horses fit for any riding ability.
