JYB is mainly known as a logician and philosopher, see his short bio here, but he is also working in mathematics,  semiotics and  arts. As an artist, he is working in movie (he has a degree of cinema from the Sorbonne), painting, music and photography.  In  philosophy, he is working, among other things, about imagination and creativity and promoting the use of images in philosophical research papers. His latest paper on  the topic: "Imaging Philosophical Discourse".  And he is writing   Imaginary Papers,  philosophical papers using images in a crucial way.
