Hello, auditioners and families:
Congratulations on your work for KIDSTAGE Auditions! The Into the Woods Team really enjoyed your magical storytelling skills, and we thank you for sharing your time with us.
We are excited to announce the Initial Cast List for Into the Woods is posted below!
A few important reminders about casting:
Be respectful! Even as the cast list gets posted, please be courteous to your fellow auditioners and refrain from discussing your casting offers in any form of communication (including social media) until the cast list has been fully finalized. Thank you for being respectful of others throughout this process.
Be patient! Casting offers may shift after the initial cast list is posted. We appreciate your understanding and mindfulness as these decisions are being made. It is our every intention to finalize casting offers as soon as possible.
Confirm Your Acceptance! If you are offered a role, please email Ayana ASAP at auriu@villagetheatre.org to accept or decline. Deadline to accept/decline is Thursday, September 25 by 9:00pm.
Once casting is finalized, the final cast list (with names) will be posted here.
We are happy to provide you with audition feedback via e-mail! And/or, if you’d like to meet with KIDSTAGE Production Staff for feedback, we’d be happy to set-up a Zoom meeting with you. Contact Ayana at auriu@villagetheatre.org. (Please allow ~2 weeks for responses as we finalize the cast list.)

*NOTE for Understudies: KIDSTAGE offers Understudies as part of our educational production experience, in which students will have the opportunity to learn the role as well as the process and protocols of being an Understudy. In the case that a cast member cannot make a rehearsal or performance, the Understudy for that character will then be given the opportunity to fill the role. However, KIDSTAGE does NOT offer guaranteed performances.
Any conflicts submitted at this point will be considered UNEXCUSED, and will need to be APPROVED by the Stage Management Team.
