The BEER Lab delves into energy-saving facilities and renewable energy technologies to achieve zero-energy buildings. We also explore architectural technologies to create a comfortable, sanitary, and safe building environment. In particular, we focus on the system and application of simultaneous heating and cooling using heat pumps, and radiant heating and cooling systems. We also cover a variety of research topics, such as testing procedures for environmental tests, and heat island reduction technologies around buildings.
