November 26, 2024, at the 2024 X-Corps Plus Festival, LAMParasite team (Young Uk Kim, Si Eun Noh, Tae-Sung Song, Donghyun Lee,
advisor: Prof.  Kyung-Il Park) won the Grand Prize. 

November 8, 2024, at the 2024 Autumn Korean Federation of Fisheries Science and Technology Societies International Conference,
Tae-Sung Song (Advisor: Prof. Kyung-Il Park) won the Best Poster Presentation Award. 

November 7, 2024, Professor Sarah Culloty from University College Cork, Ireland (an expert in marine biology and aquatic animal diseases) visited.

October 30, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Institute of Marine Sciences of the Spanish National Research Council and Kunsan National University for research collaboration, and a seminar on "Shellfish Diseases in Europe" was held.

February 2 to February 4, 2024, Kunsan National University hosted the 5th International Manila Clam Symposium.
