f(x) is a Korean girl group, formed by S.M. Entertainment 2009. A current girl group consisting of four multinational members, in which Luna is a Korean member; Amber is a Taiwanese-American member; Krystal is a Korean-American and Victoria's Chinese leader. 2009: Debut and "LA chA TA"
Their debut single, "LA chA TA", was released on September 1. f (x) debuted on September 2 at the Samseong-dong Fashion Show. of Super Junior's Leeteuk and Girls' Generation's Sunny as the host.
The second single from f (x) is Chu ~ ♡ (츄 ~ ♡), which was released on November 9, which included 3 songs.
f (x) also starred in Invincible Lee Pyung Kang. The song "Hard But Easy" was sung by Luna and Krystal. The MV was released on November 13, 2009.
2010: Started overseas operations
f (x) has collaborated with boy band from Taiwan M.I.C in Chinese song Lollipop to promote LG's CYON line. Krystal, Luna and Amber also sang the soundtrack (Part Two) of KBS drama "God Of Study". Their song Spread the Wings was released in late January 2010.
On the 27th and 28th, f (x) appeared again as special guests at the New World Concerts at the Fencing Gymnasium.
Amber has been temporarily suspended due to an ankle injury. The remaining activities of the group in 2010 were made without her.
On the 17th, the group began performing their next single, promoting Mr. Boogie, the second song in the Nu ABO mini-album. They had their first performance on MBC Music Core.
f (x) also participated in SM Town Live '10 World Tour at Jamsil Olympic Seoul. They also performed in Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles and Paris (2011) on the following days. This marked the first time f (x) performed outside of Asia.
2011: Pinocchio and Hot Summer
The Danger song was released after Amber returned to the US after a long holiday from June 2010 and f (x) is planning to return in the first half of 2011.
On June 8, it was announced that girl group f (x) will release Pinocchio's remix album, titled Hot Summer. It includes all 10 songs from their first album and the new Hot Summer song (remastered from Monrose's Hot Summer song).
On December 13th, f (x) released an English song named 1,2,3 on the 2011 Winter SMTOWN album - The Warmest Gift.
2012: Electric Shock and debut in Japan
On the day of 8.6.2012, SM has released teaser images of Luna and Amber. On the same day, they released a teaser video for "Electric Shock" on YouTube.
In 2014, the "Electric Shock" album cover won the Communication Design Award Package at the 2014 Red Dot Design Awards in Germany.
2013: SXSW and Pink Tape
On January 29, 2013, at a press conference for the 10th Annual Korean Music Awards, it was announced that Electric Shock and Jet songs, both of which were nominated for Best Dance & Electronic Song.
An Art Film was released on YouTube channel by S.M. Entertainment at noon on July 17, 2013, showing that the girls will finally have a comeback on July 29 along with their second studio album, Pink Tape. The theme song for this second album is Rum Pum Pum or 첫 사랑니 (The first wisdom tooth) in Korean.
In 2014, the cover of the album "Pink Tape" won the "Communication Design Award Package" category at the 2014 Red Dot Design Awards in Germany.
2014: Red Light
On March 16, 2013, f (x) won the "The Group Artist" category at the 20th Korean Entertainment Arts Awards, "Disk Bonsang" at the 28th Golden Disk Awards. At the same time won the "Best Overseas Artist Performance" award at the Yin Yue Feng Yun Bang Awards held in China. At the Golden Disk Awards, the three members Amber, Luna, and Krystal covered Girls' Generation's The Boys song.
The f (x) 's third studio album, "Red Light," was released on July 7, 2014. It consists of two versions: A (Sleepy Cats) and B (Wild Cats) ).

2016: First tour
In January 2016, f (x) won the Bonsang at the Golden Disk Awards 2016.
