Teaching Philosophy

I believe that a classroom should be engaging and welcoming, and it is my job as an educator to create an environment of active learning to show a student just how powerful their new statistical knowledge can be. My teaching philosophy statement is available to the left.

MATH 2305 - Discrete Mathematical Structures.
MATH 4395 - Senior Project in Mathematics.
STAT 3311 - Statistical Analysis for Natural Science.
STAT 5301/MATH 5310 - Stat. Found. for Data Analytics.
STAT 5310 - Applied Regression Analysis.
STAT 6399 - Directed Study in Statistics.
UHD 1302 - Freshman Seminar. Topic: "Let’s do the math!".

Prior to my teaching at UHD, I taught STAT 310, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, at Rice University in the summer of 2018. My course covered topics in both probability and statistics, and taught basic computation in R.
