The “Electromagnetic Wave and Antenna Laboratory” is affiliated to the Department of Electronic Engineering of Chang Gung University. The laboratory is equipped with a microwave anechoic chamber, and millimeter-wave probe on-chip radiation field test equipment, as well as E5071C (frequency 300 KHz~20 GHz) and E8361C (with spread spectrum module, frequency up to 110 GHz) network analyzer. These devices adequately support research needs. In terms of computer simulation software, the laboratory is equipped with high-frequency electromagnetic simulation software HFSS and IE3D, which can conduct research smoothly in electromagnetic modeling and circuit optimization. In recent years, the laboratory has conducted in-depth research on the antenna, filter, coupler and duplexer design of 5G communication and millimeter-wave automotive radar, and has achieved many achievements. We has published nearly a hundred related papers in international academic journals and conferences such as TAP, AWPL, ACCESS, TMTT and TCPMT, and has received dozens of research grants. All graduates of this laboratory can obtain comprehensive professional training in microwave engineering and antennas, and are highly recognized by the employing companies.
