I am an FARE (Fellowship for Academic and Research Excellence) fellow at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, IIT Kanpur, from 01.11.2025 to present.
I completed my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur during 2019–2025 under the supervision of Prof. Debasis Kundu and Prof. Sharmishtha Mitra. My doctoral thesis, titled “Robust Inference of Bivariate Distributions,” focuses on developing computationally and asymptotically efficient estimators for parameters of bivariate lifetime models, with an emphasis on robust and efficient estimation techniques. Outside of academics, I enjoy swimming, playing badminton, watching biographical films, and traveling to new places.
