KSA-GRF17 Coordinate Converter for Maps is a Chrome extension that converts WGS 84 geographic coordinates from Google Maps or manually entered coordinates into approximate KSA-GRF17 geographic and UTM coordinates.
This privacy policy explains how the extension accesses, processes, and protects information.
The extension processes the following information when needed for coordinate conversion:
Geographic latitude and longitude obtained from supported Google Maps URLs.
Coordinates entered manually by users.
Map locations selected using the extension's point-selection tool.
This information is used solely to calculate and display coordinate transformation results.
The extension performs coordinate conversions locally within the user's browser.
The extension does not intentionally collect or transmit coordinates to the developer's servers. It does not operate its own user analytics or tracking service.
Coordinates are processed as necessary to display conversion results.
The developer does not sell, rent, or share users' geographic coordinates or personal information with advertisers or other third parties.
The extension operates on Google Maps, which is a separate service governed by Google's own privacy policies.
The extension uses limited browser permissions to:
Access supported Google Maps pages.
Read geographic coordinates associated with selected map locations.
Display the coordinate conversion interface.
Enable the user to copy coordinate transformation results.
These permissions are used only for the extension's advertised functionality.
Coordinate transformation calculations are performed locally in the browser, without requiring users to create an account.
The extension is a general-purpose geospatial utility and is not specifically directed toward children.
This privacy policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data-handling practices change.
Updates will be published on this page.
