Short Bio

I am a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Economics, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. I hold my Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Catania in 2018 and my Master's degree in Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Bologna in 2021. 

My research interests are in macro-finance and financialization. Most of my projects are empirical and use long-run data, often informed by a political economy perspective. 

I am also intrigued by all those non-economic domains that aim to analyze finance from a socio-economic perspective, from the sociology of finance to historical sociology and political science. 

Another area of my research investigates the relationship between inequality and climate change.
