Rock walls, retaining walls, steps, and other rock features can all be designed and constructed by us. A rock wall is the most seamless addition to any garden or outdoor space. Stones like sandstone, limestone, and even igneous rock like basalt can be used to build walls. Some retaining wall designs can benefit from the addition of rock retaining wall elements.
Retaining wall plans must take into account the soil's receptivity and the function of the structure. Although retaining walls can be constructed from a wide range of materials, the most common ones are well-ordered masonry blocks, reinforced concrete, timber panels, pebbles, stones, and boulders.
Concrete sleeper retaining walls are often considered the most versatile, robust, and easy to construct type of retaining wall due to their adaptability, durability, and variety of colours and finishes. If the right technical principles are used, they can be built quickly and last for decades longer than the 60 years considered standard practise in most places.
Before beginning the stabilisation process, it is necessary to do a site evaluation to determine the soil type. For example, you might have to analyse the native soil's composition, load-bearing capacity, permeability, and other physical features.
After considering the suitability of the project site and the client's desired aesthetic, a finalised building plan will be designed.
A lot of people like the look of concrete walls.
