IMMERSIVE FLOW
REALITY is a short to showcase my skill level with editing flow.
the narrative is about that aleviating feeling the outdoors has on us when we can sit and enjoy everything around us in life and nature. I filmed this short while camping in yakima, wa.
My process involved using my sony fx30 camera at 100fps to get some smooth, slow-motion shots to really capture the beauty that each individual frame brings to the tone of the overall calming narrative.
breathtaking sound design
Here is a sound design montage that briefly summarizes my skills in this department. i used risers, sound effects, atmosphere, music, etc.
these elements helped bring together the tone i was looking for in the edit; the epic immersions of nature, to the soft, melodic atmosphere.
the footage used was not filmed by me, I used pexels.com to find visual assets to go along with this project nicely.Â
