KrushiLink respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how KrushiLink collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the KrushiLink mobile application and related services.

• User role (Farmer, Buyer, Enterprise, Specialist)

Marketplace Information

• Orders and transaction history

Device & Technical Information

• Device model

• Operating system

• App version

• IP address

• Crash logs and performance data

2. OTP Authentication & Account Security

KrushiLink uses Firebase Phone Authentication to verify mobile numbers through OTP (One-Time Password).

We do not store OTP codes manually. Authentication is securely handled through Google Firebase services.

For account protection, KrushiLink may use:

• PIN security

• Device verification

• Session security checks

• Firebase Play Integrity / reCAPTCHA verification when required

3. Location Information

KrushiLink uses your district/location information to:

• Show nearby produce listings

• Match buyers and farmers locally

• Improve marketplace relevance

GPS location is not continuously tracked in the background.

Your exact live location is not publicly shared with other users.

4. Payments

KrushiLink supports direct UPI-based payments between buyers and farmers.

Important:

• KrushiLink does NOT store UPI PINs

• KrushiLink does NOT store bank passwords

• KrushiLink does NOT store debit/credit card details

Payments are processed through third-party UPI applications selected by the user, such as PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, or banking apps.

Users are responsible for verifying payment details before completing transactions.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts

• Enable marketplace functionality

• Process orders and transactions

• Improve app performance and security

• Send important notifications

• Prevent fraud and misuse

• Provide customer support

6. Information Sharing

KrushiLink does not sell personal information to third parties.

Limited information may be shared:

• Between buyers and farmers for order coordination

• With Firebase/Google services for authentication and notifications

• When required by law or legal process

7. Firebase & Third-Party Services

KrushiLink uses Firebase services provided by Google for:

• Authentication

• Cloud database storage

• Notifications

• App security

• Crash reporting

These services may collect limited technical information necessary for secure operation of the platform.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain user information as long as necessary to:

10. Children's Privacy

KrushiLink is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Updated versions will be posted within the app or official channels with a revised "Last Updated" date.
