As you have probably figured out by now, this whole website is written from the point of view of a Time Lord teaching a human how to write and speak Krono Gallifreyan. This is used as a story device and to make this web site interesting. Time Lords do not exist and if they did I am certainty not one. Krono Gallifreyan is inspired by the TV show Doctor Who ©BBC and Circular Gallifreyan by Loren Sherman. If you have not seen Doctor Who, and honestly I'm not sure why you would be on this website if you have not, I would highly recommend it. I would also recommend becoming sufficient at Circular Gallifreyan before trying to learn Krono Gallifreyan. It will help a lot not constantly trying to figure out how different letters look.

Since the creators of Doctor Who never standardized Gallifreyan many fans have taken it upon themselves to create various alphabets that are various types of Gallifreyan. Although these alphabets are genius, they are simply other ways to write linear-languages: especially English. My goal in creating Krono Gallifreyan is to not only create a entirely new language, but also standardize a way that hardcore Whovians can communicate to each other. That includes a speaking aspect as well, although that will not be as central to the focus of Krono Gallifreyan. It is designed aesthetically pleasing, easy(ish) to learn, while still making it believable that it would have originated on a planet far from Earth in time, space, and culture.

The reason this language is called Krono Gallifreyan is because it is a writing system created alongside and for the purpose of time travel. The grammar is mostly based on the idea that the Time Lords have time travel. Because of this, they talk from cause to effect and have more time related verb tenses than just past and future. Since neither time nor Krono Gallifreyan is linear, the sentence structure is occasionally split onto two different paths or is turned into a circle.
