I completed a year-long training under 2 Maharashtra Engineer Regiment National Cadet Corps (NCC), IIT Bombay in 2018-19. NCC is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces, with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. The motto of NCC is "Unity and Discipline". I have spent some of the most memorable times of my freshie year as an NCC Cadet. I participated in the 10-day long Annual Training Camp 412 (ATC). I learned how to assemble and disassemble a self-loading rifle in less than 100 seconds. I also fired 5 rounds of 0.22 mm rifle in ATC. I bagged 1st Position in both Badminton and Tug of War sports events and 2nd Position in the Fine-Arts cultural event conducted during ATC. We also visited multiple schools to educate students with poor backgrounds about studies beyond the tenth standard. I was also designated as the Flag Bearer to lead the IIT Bombay contingent in the 2019 Republic Day Parade.
