Krisztina Molnár is an associate professor in the Economics Department, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Krisztina's research combines data and economic theory to help understand expectation formation and household behavior to help design policy. Her optimal monetary policy work has been included in Handbook of Monetary Economics , and included in many advanced macro syllabuses (Woodford). Her recent monetary work is forthcoming in Journal of Monetary Economics. She is also interested in how preference shocks, income shocks impact household decisions and recently enjoyed playing with textual analysis.
She received her Ph.D. from Universidad Pompeu Fabra under the supervision of Albert Marcet.

Krisztina has done policy work evaluating Norges Bank in 2008.
