Scripting

I have been doing backend scripting for the past 3½ years, having started learning in June 2020. I have since learnt frontend scripting in 2021, making me a full stack programmer in Lua. In 2022, I began learning Java to translate my skills into that language. In 2023, I have even began to experiment with using Kotlin in Android Studio.

However, as this is a Roblox Developer portfolio, all the listed projects below are from Roblox, and therefore use solely Luau. As well as that, these are only my newest examples.

Clock In

In Clock In (Diversion Studios), I contributed a vast amount to the game's revamp, such as the entire lobby frontend (although the backend was done by another developer), as well as some of the tasks, difficulties and many other things.

Fall in a hole simulator

I have also created entire games solo, such as Fall in a hole simulator, under my studio Tin Hung Studios. All code and assets in this game were created by me, excluding the music.

Obby but it changes randomly

One of my other solo games is Obby but it changes randomly. The objective of the game is stated in the title.

Card Rolling RNG

As part of a commission in January 2025, I made a card rolling RNG spinner.

This rolling system uses rarities and cosmetics in an object oriented way.

The Garrison

For the revamp of the Garrison, I programmed the Tic Tac Toe game.

I also did some programming on the leaderboards, as well as helping to fix some bugs.

Day, Time and Weather

As a commission for 5,000 Robux in early 2024, in around 70 minutes I was able to create a day, time and weather system, which will be used in a future cafe game.

Ferris Wheel

As another commission for 5,000 Robux at the end of 2023, I have also made a Ferris Wheel which moves. This is a mix of building and scripting.

Time played leaderboard

This leaderboard shows how much time a player has spent ingame (in seconds) in the past day, week, month and all time.

Performance impacts are minimal, with each leaderboard refresh being every 20 seconds and only having a 1 - 3ms impact.
