Kristian Frederiksen

I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Aarhus University.  My research revolves around democratic erosion and is published in academic journals such as American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science, Political Behavior and European Journal of Political Research, among other outlets. Most of this research specifically examines why voters support undemocratic politicians and how that support is shaped by political institutions. My current research agenda considers the beliefs of political elites as well as voters.
