Kris McElroy is a 39-year-old autistic biracial black transgender man with multiple disabilities who enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and outdoors. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Human Services. Kris has 15 years as a human services professional and public speaker. He is a passionate artist, advocate, and freelance writer, including a self-publishing author of several books. These passion areas combined with public speaking and community engagement are the primary ways Kris expresses, processes, and addresses life’s topics such as disabilities, race, sexuality & gender identity, faith, trauma, self-care, mental health, parenting, intersectionality, and self-identity.
