March, 2021 - May, 2022 Senior Research Engineer. Ola Electric Ltd, Bengaluru, India. Responsibilities include the development of speech systems namely, wake word detection, Automatic speech recognition, and Text to speech systems.
2016 – 2020 Research scholar. Speech processing lab, IIIT Hyderabad. Responsibilities include the development and testing of algorithms for pathological speech systems. Exploration of machine learning and signal processing techniques for speech systems. Worked on the analysis of speech production mechanism, and development of automatic speech recognition and language identification systems.
2019 June-July Research Intern. Department of Signal Processing and Acoustics, Aalto University, Finland. In collaboration with Prof. Paavo Alku Dept. of signal processing and acoustics, Aalto university, studied Rhotic approximant sounds in the context of dysarthric speech.
2017 – 2020 Teaching Assistant. at IIIT Hyderabad, for the courses Speech signal processing (monsoon 2017, monsoon 2018), Time Frequency Analysis (spring 2018, spring 2020), and Digital Signal Processing (spring 2019). Courses offered for UG and PG students. The responsibilities includes clearing doubts for the students, preparing assignments, solving problem sets, and conducting quizzes.
