Meditating and Painting are the two things that bring joy for me and both are coupled together. Painting is meditation for me and I paint about meditation and spirituality. Rumi said "Silence is the language of God and everything else a weak translation", Painting is my translation of that silence.

I started with Pastel and moved onto Oil on Canvas. I love Oil as a medium as it has a fluidity in it. I love playing with light and values. I have recently enjoyed weaving a story with my paintings. Most of my paintings have an underlying theme.

I have seen my art grow under the tutelage of Deepti from Art Circle studio. The environment in the studio is conducive to creativity. All my paintings ,paint themselves, with ideas coming from Deepti and other artists at the studio
