2026 Season Player Salary Worksheet:
2025 Season Player Salary Work Sheet :
Total Team Salary (salary + fines) Cannot Exceed:
$71.0 million after Roster-Cut Down Week.
$84.0 million After Roster Cut-Down Week until the end of the Free Agent Draft
$89.0 million From After the Free Agent Draft to End of the Season.
You can't have more than $71 million in future contracted salary at any time.
The Gray Section:
This area lists all players currently signed to contracts. Their status is "Contracted." These players are retained on the team roster and count against the salary cap. Any contracted players with 0 years remaining on their contracts will be released after the current season and will become a free agent and eligible for next season’s draft unless Tendered or Franchised (more on that below).
Players with years remaining in their contracts may be cut WITH a penalty equal to 1/2 the accumulated salary due over the life of the contract. (Ex.: A player with two years left under contract who is due $3m in year one and $4m in year two can be cut with a $3.5m penalty).
Players with years remaining in their contracts may be cut WITHOUT penalty if they have a Durability rating of three (3) or less in the previous NFL season.
The White Section
This area lists all free agent signings from last year's free agent draft (status "FA") as well as rookies drafted (status "FA## / Drafted ##). The ## after the FA indicate prior to which season the team owner must either cut or re-sign them to a new contract. The starting salary for a re-signed player is the same as current plus $1.0mil if the contract is four years or less or same as current plus $1.5mil if the contract is five years or more.
When we have Roster Cut Down week in May, the players listed as FA## or FA##/Drafted ##, where the ## after FA is the current season, need to be offered a contract or they will become free agents and go into the next free agent draft. The only decision to make with the other players in the white section is to Keep them or Cut them. The number after the FA is the season in which the contract decision needs to be made. .
Franchise/Tender Eligible
These players have expired contracts of 3 yrs or longer and may be retained in one of two ways:
1. One player may be designated as a "Franchise Player" who can be re-signed to a new contract beginning at the average salary of the top 5 players at that position.
2. Up to two players may be designated as "Tenderable," giving the team an opportunity to re-sign them during the Free Agent Draft.
Players Drafted This Season section
This area lists all players drafted in the rookie draft and who will see their first KRFL appearances next season.
The salary listed will count against your salary cap next season.
