The Krewe
The Krewe
We are an all-volunteer, New Orleans-style parade krewe, formed in downtown Savannah, GA.
Our charitable* purpose is to educate residents of Savannah, Georgia on traditional parade culture, art, & music. We aim to have fun & build community pride through pedestrian parades that feature DIY art, costumes, & local music.
Our main annual event is the Savannah Slithering Parade, but we occasionally branch out with random costumed gatherings in summer and fall.
Weirdos welcome. We hope you'll join our next event!
Stay in touch via our Facebook, Instagram or email us.

*While we are an incorporated nonprofit in Georgia, we are awaiting our official IRS designation as a 501c3 organization.
Slithering 2026 is presented by...
Centuries ago, St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland. They have been wandering the icy Atlantic depths and will emerge anew as illuminated lanterns in the streets of Savannah!
Your friendly neighborhood Krewe of the Humble Hedonists is excited to host the Fifth Annual Savannah Slithering, a Mardi Gras-style walking parade to have fun for fun's sake.
The only rule is that you must participate, which means you'll need a serpent-themed lantern. Make your own, or join us for one of multiple workshops in the weeks before the parade to get help with your lantern.
This event is for all ages, and there is no cost to be in the parade. Just want to watch? Feel free to post up at Starland Strange, Two Tides Brewing, Starland Yard, or Hop Atomica to watch!
We can't wait to ssssee you at the Savannah Slithering! Ssssslainte!
Come as you are, but we're especially excited to see Druids, Snakes, Snake Charmers, Pagans, & Weirdos of all stripes. Illumination preferred!
